MOD and greed and Bitcoin

Have you followed the DN's series of articles on Bitcoinbedrägerierna?

The incomprehensible cynicism behind this organized and elaborate fraud on a large scale is absolutely terrible. Via ads on Facebook with celebrities who are alleged to say things about how they became wealthy when they thought the microphone was turned off, thousands of people have been tricked into ransacking every penny.

Many of the victims of Milton Group's predatory activities are pensioners who have simply hoped to be able to extend their meager pensions. Today in DN it says that the whistleblower Alexej can not forget one of the victims, eller ”the clients”, a single pregnant woman who hoped to make life a little better for herself and her little child. They took everything from her – and when she cried the seller shouted at her that if she bet more she would get her money back. The department that earns the most at the company Milton Group pretends to want and be able to help the ruined and desperate ” the clients” to get their money back – which then turns out to have risen in value – but to get it back it must ” clients” pay ”tax” and other and so shine their victims for even more money. This is how the company makes its profits. By stealing. And put people in such financial panic on the verge of doom that they gratefully take the next step; pays to get their money back.

People get their lives shattered.

The whistleblower, who got a job at Milton Group last summer did not know that his job would be to squeeze out all the clients' money, to the last ear, as every morning's call sounded. Once he understood what was going on, he decided to gather as much material as possible – and advance within the company – to have evidence of the criminal activity. He contacted DN, which has shared the material with Nordic newspapers and the non-profit journalist organization Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project. Milton Group's management taught the employees what happened to them who betrayed. Some of the victims had been driven into nothingness and subjected to false arquebusing , forced to write on debt securities that make them serfs for the rest of their lives. I have enormous respect for this whistleblower. This is courage. It is about an individual who has dared to challenge this whole cruel and dangerous and cynical activity. He has also gone against his principles while working there to be able to gather material on this crime.

I'm full of admiration. What is courage if not this? How many would have a similar courage? Not so many – but they exist and the fact that they exist is tremendously uplifting. The brave people exist.

So it is a fantastic opening that DN provides the opportunity for anonymous tips about misconduct. This is something to be proud of – it is practiced democracy, it is an expression of the struggle against the lowest sides of man, as manifested again and again and constantly in new forms.

Greed, it must be one of man's greatest sins. Many other sins are driven by greed. But we live in a time when greed is almost celebrated. We live in a time when it sometimes seems as if the ability to cheat, to exploit others, to take what is different and make it one's own, considered smart. And admirable. Maybe I'm wrong in that observation, and which always exists in parallel. But I think there's something in it.

I just wrote that on my FB page. That greed must be one of man's worst sins. One person replied that those who have been deceived have also been driven by greed. The world is not that simple. Man is not that simple.

But there is an already accepted story in all contexts, a narrative as it is so beautifully named. Or an interpretation as I usually say, an interpretation of the phenomena we humans encounter. You have to be aware of that. Me too. These interpretations simplify, sometimes in a way that in practice cements what can be defined as evil. With the help of shame, including.

He who is deceived bears the shame. The one who has been deceived is, even if it is ugly done, the one who has status. Being cheated is one of the worst things, it already thinks small small children. It hurts one in the root. And besides, you should bear shame. You were greedy. ” Greed leads greed”, wrote this person, who is certainly a reflective person and sympathetic in every way. It has nothing to do with it. That's the mindset. The quick conclusions, the old story.

not so strange. How the stories were created? Who created them?

Just as the deceived should bear the shame, bears the raped shame.

These poor people who have been deceived should not bear any shame. They have had hopes of making life a little better for themselves and for their loved ones. You can be pretty sure that it is not about people who are already in a good position, who do not need to extend their pension, who is not alone with children, who cannot afford to stay in their house or repair their car.

But now I do not have time to write more. I just had to try to formulate a bit about this. I all hast! This makes me so upset, but at the same time; there is MOD!
